An application to the court and for reasons appearing to the satisfaction of the court it is ordained by the Court that a complaint of Idiocy is in to the Sheriff of Grainger County commanding him to summon a jury of twelve freeholders to ascertain by inquisition whether Elizabeth Mays widow of Sherod Mays is from want of mind inable of the management of her estate and wether she be of sound mind and in the event the said Elizabeth should on such inquisition be found not to be in her proper mind. Then the said Jury to return an inventory of all the Estate of the said Elizabeth Mays together with their report to the next term of this court.

Ordered by the Court that Dudly Mays and Goodwin Mays be appointed Guardians of Elizabeth Mays until the next time of this Court.
